Driving simulator with VR headset tested
On July 18th, 2016 In the office of Rijkswaterstaat in Rijswijk a driving simulator was. This simulator is developed for Rijkswaterstaat by the visualisation company XKP from Rotterdam. The company developed a special computer for this project and acquired Virtual Reality headset with a high resolution. The purpose of the driving simulator is to let human test subjects test traffic measures, new road signs or even new road designs of human factors aspects.
